In good overall condition with signs of use and fine tarnish visible with the naked eye especially to the pillars. Otherwise the present De Beers hourglass is in very good overall condition when in comparison to the others that have appeared in the auction market before. The light for the stand is not working.
Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Shimmering and dazzling, this hour glass timer contains a cascade of over 2000 natural rough cut diamonds that weighs approximately 36 carats in total. The diamonds are suspended in silicone fluid with a 10 minute interval. This elegant timer allows the owner to measure the passage of time in the most poetic and joyful way.
