Rolex introduced the original GMT-Master reference 6542 in 1954 to help pilots combat jet-lag. Follow its success, the firm introduced reference 1675 in 1960, which remained in production through the 1980s before it was later replaced by reference 16750. Over its's 30 year run the 1675 was available in gold, steel and steel and gold.
The present watch is in good overall condition given its age retaining strong proportions and sharp edges to the case.
