This particular model, the Reference 6264, like the 6262, was available for approximately just one or two years. Both references featured the newer Cal 727 movement and yet the 6264 features the black acrylic bezel. During its short production years, it is believed that less than 1,700 examples of a 6264 in stainless steel were ever made. This particular lot, with its 2.7 million serial number, was most probably one of the last produced. The present lot has been attractively preserved and is offered with its Rolex guarantee and presentation case.
