The present lot belongs to the Collection Privée Cartier Paris, which was launched in 1998 and inspired by historic Cartier designs. The calibre 045MC that powers the Tortue Monopoussoir was made by THA Ebauche, a collaborative movement manufacture by Vianney Halter, Denis Flageollet and François-Paul Journe.
