This Rolex is an exceptional piece. A reference 6290 with beautiful 'Bombay' case is already a beautiful vintage watch to be excited about, however, this example with its royal blue enamel dial goes beyond and above the top. The nickname 'Bombay' stems from the French word 'bombé', meaning 'rounded', which refers to the fancy curved form of the lugs. The term was later Americanised and resulted in the nickname 'Bombay'.

While the watch has been loved and worn by previous owners, it has been retained in attractive condition with beautiful case lines and the masterpiece, its blue enamel dial, appears as vibrant as ever.
