It was in the year 2000 that Rolex introduced the new automatic Daytona reference 116520. This new generation of Daytona featured the new in house caliber 4130. Some of these early Daytona have a fascinating feature where the dial ages and over time turns to a rich cream colour. The present watch is a fabulous example of these early automatic Daytona.
