Launched in 1985, the present reference 3945 is an elegant example which bears the classic perpetual calendar layout of Patek Philippe. Upon close inspection, one will notice its beveled-down subsidiary dials and split leap years, indicating that this is indeed an example from the 2nd series, produced exclusively from 1988-1998. Combined with a mesh bracelet inspired by chain-mail armour from the Middle Ages, reference 3945 charms with its historic character and is in exceptionally well preserved condition.
