Starting in 2003, Omega released a limited edition Speedmaster with an adorable figure spotted at the 9 o’clock subdial. This is none other than Snoopy, our favourite cartoon friend from Charles Schulz's famous “Peanuts” comic strip. Almost 50 years ago during the Apollo 10 mission, the Lunar Excursion Module was nicknamed “Snoopy” as its mission was to “snoop around” the moon for a good landing site. Commemorating Snoopy’s efforts, Omega has chosen Snoopy to be their ambassador between the Speedmaster and space exploration and the present example has been kept in excellent condition.
