SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING AND DIAMOND ETERNITY BAND


Comprising a ring featuring a cushion-cut sapphire weighing 5.83 carats, the split-shank mounting accented throughout by round diamonds, size 5¾, signed Taffin, numbered TF 1273, and a coordinating eternity band set with round diamonds, size 5½, signed Taffin, numbered TF 1712.


In good condition, the mounting with only minor signs of wear including light surface scratches, noticeable only upon close inspection. The sapphire is medium slightly violetish blue, slightly included, with minor color zoning, and a few small nicks to the crown, noticeable under 10x magnification. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50 carats, are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1106773 dated February 17, 2020 stating that the sapphire is of Madagascar origin, with no indications of heating. Additionally accompanied by photocopy of AGTA report 96037407 dated June 23, 2004 stating the sapphire weighing 5.83 carats has no indications of heating.
