Designed as an overflowing woven flower basket, the flowers composed of pearls, old European, old mine and single-cut diamonds and round sapphires, the textured gold basket decorated with demantoid garnets, signed Flato; circa 1940s.

Condition Report

In good condition, especially given the age of the piece. With scratching and abrasions to the metal commensurate with wear. The metal tests as 18 karat gold and platinum. The pearls measuring from 2.7 to 2.4 mm. The sapphires are medium light slightly violetish blue, slightly included. The diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.00 carat are approximately H-J color, VS-SI clarity. The demantoid garnets are a vivid slightly yellowish green to green. Dimensions approximately 1½ x 1½ inches. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin of color.
