[Bureau : 77 x 170,7 x 79,8 cm ; 30 ¼ in x 67 ¼ x 31 ⅜ in. ; fauteuil : 82,7 x 57,3 x 59 cm; 32 ½ x 22 ½ x 23 ¼ in.]

Good overall condition, consistent with age and gentle use.

The desk : the upper right corner presents with an area of loss to the marble measuring approximately 1,5 x 2 cm, and a smaller area of loss to the upper left corner. The marble presents with a few surface scratches throughout, most noticeable along the edges, as well as with two white stains located on the top. One of the top corners appears to have been sensitively restored at some point.

The metal surface presents with scattered scratches, light oxidation stains, and a few dents concentrated to three of the handles. One foot with a small red paint stain. One of the metallic keyhole plates appears to have been replaced. There is evidence of glue residue near one of the keyholes. One screw cover is missing but not visually distracting.

The upper edge of the desk with evidence of old adhesive tape application.

The lacquered surfaces with stable crackling and wear along the edges, consistent with age and the natural evolution of the medium. The underside and upper left side of the desktop with an area of loss to the wood. Two feet presents with important scratches, one partially revealing the under surfaced wood body.

the armchair : the lacquer present with some surfaces scratches and instance of wear. The armrests and feet with dents and occasional areas of loss to the lacquer. The fabric upholstery presents with some light wear and areas of discoloration mostly concentrated to the lower part of the seat.

Four keys are provided.
