Overall in very good condition. The piece has recently been cleaned and waxed by a professional conservator and presents with oxidation and verdigris marks throughout consistent with age and the artist’s intent. The patina presents with areas of scattered losses throughout most visible on the base and the tip of the stems. The stems and base with very minor surface irregularities to the metal inherent to the making and consistent with the artist’s practice. The stems have recently been professionally straightened and appear more aligned than it is pictured in the catalogue photography.
