Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces appear to have been professionally refinished at some point in the history of the piece and present with scratches, edge abrasions, indentations and superficial losses to the wood throughout, concentrated mostly to the legs and transversal wood panels connecting the side legs. The wood presents with stable hairline cracks, the largest on one leg measuring approximately 2 inches long. The areas where the armrests meet the legs present with varying levels of separation at the seam but are overall stable and do not affect use or functionality. The upholstery has been professionally replaced with hide and is in excellent condition overall. The non-upholstered area under each armrest reveals the original, unfinished wood surface. An elegant pair of this celebrated model originally acquired in Chandigarh.
