A RARE BLUE-GLAZED JAR
of baluster shape rising to a short neck flaring to a lipped rim, covered overall with an intense cobalt blue glaze stopping irregularly above the base and revealing the buff body
Height 12 cm, 4¾in.
There is an area of approximately 10 x 8cm of deterioration to the glaze due to burial and with seven small areas of re-touching to glaze flakes (the largest circa 5x8mm.) in the same area.
