37 1/2 by 32 in. (95.3 by 81.3 cm)

The canvas is unlined. The edges are taped. The surface is slightly dirty. Minor frame abrasion along the lower edge and the upper half of the left edge. Some pigment shrinkage in the umbrella, in the dark green pigments of the tree in the upper left corner, and in the two pieces of fruit in the lower left quadrant. One pindot-sized impact to the canvas and an associated loss in the red dress of the primary sitter. Under UV light: a few strokes of retouching in the peach-colored pigments of the wall toward the upper right corner. A few strokes of retouching along the right and lower edges, likely to address prior frame abrasion. A few nailhead-sized strokes of possible retouching in the cream-colored pigments of the palm reader's skirt. The work is in good condition.
