Condition Report

Still Life with Fruit and Embroidered Cloth:


The work appears to retain a glossy surface varnish. There appear to be frame abrasions along all extreme outer edges and fine lines of surface cracking throughout the glossy varnish layer. There appear to be some additional scattered small drying cracks in the peaches at right and left and in the light colored grapes at center. Under UV: the varnish layer appears to be uneven and there are a few scattered lines of inpaint to address frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges.


Still Life of Fruit with Compote of Strawberries:


The work appears to retain a glossy surface varnish. There appear to be frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges and fine lines of surface cracking throughout the glossy varnish. Under UV: the varnish layer appears to be uneven and there are a few scattered lines of inpaint to address frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges.
