Excellent level and appearance

In 2011, an absolutely sumptuous nose of chocolate (very Trotanoy), tinged with iron. On the palate, so rich that it is like a deep pile carpet - my husband, David Peppercorn's accurate assessment! Gloriously glycerol. Lush, but with a mega tannic structure so it will see (most) of us out. Pure bliss. Such personality, with the marked individuality of the cru, which I happen to adore. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
