Comprising: a necklace composed of turquoise cameos carved with triumphal and Bacchanalian scenes, each within a border of cushion-shaped diamonds in cut-down collet settings, to a curb link back chain, to a similarly set diamond clasp, length approximately 390mm; and a pair of pendent earrings of similar design, hook fittings, monogrammed fitted case stamped C. Sewell.

Diamond in clasp measuring approximately 7.4 x 6.6 x 3.7mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.20 carats, estimated to be approximately I colour, VS clarity, as graded within the limitations of the mount. Estimated total weight of remaining diamonds approximately 15.00 - 17.00 carats, estimated to be H-J colour on average, mixed clarity grades.Turquoise sections ranging in size from approximately 32 x 20mm to 14 x 14mm. Turquoise with natural colour mottling and areas of matrix visible, the reverses uneven. Carving overall in good condition, one part to central plaque restored (pillars in background of scene), another small part to plaque left of centre restuck (along lower edge), one hairline crack through one earring, some areas of very minor chipping to edges of turquoise. Earring lengths approximately 42mm each. End cameos of necklace possibly formerly the original tops of the earrings. Combined gross weight approximately 121 grams. Fitted blue velvet case stamped C. Sewell Jewellers & C, 4 Davies St, Berkeley Square, W, lid monogrammed KB with baronial crown.
