Centring on cluster motifs of oval rubies framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, to a strap set with brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, length approximately 185mm, British hallmarks; circa 1985.


Accompanied by a facsimile of an invoice from Mappin & Webb.

Accompanied by a facsimile of an invoice from Mappin and Webb, dated 1987, for £25,000, stating that the total weight of the rubies is 8.03 carats, the brilliant-cut diamonds 7.89 carats, the marquise-shaped diamonds 1.21 carats.


Stamped with British hallmarks for London, 18 carat gold and date letter L for 1985. Rubies with some very minor points of wear to facet edges. With a safety catch (which comes open very easily) but the clasp closes securely without the need of the safety catch. Gross weight approximately 34 grams. Overall condition good.
