As the jeweller to the Imperial Court of Russia, Peter Carl Fabergé is well known for his unique series of fifty jewelled Imperial Easter eggs. The creation of his supreme technical mastery can be seen in some of the world’s important museums and private collections including H.M. Queen Elizabeth II. In 1989 until 2009 for jewellery and 2012 for watches, Fabergé granted exclusive licensing right to Victor Mayer GmbH & C of Pforzheim, Germany, a family owned enterprise founded in 1890, as the new work master to produce contemporary Fabergé eggs, jewellery and watches. Every item created is original with a limited edition and bears the “FABERGÉ” hallmark along with the work master mark of Victor Mayer.
