the rectangular cabinet with two hinged doors opening to reveal a series of eight various sized drawers on a nineteenth century wood stand, the cabinet decorated in gold hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, hirame and nashiji with a landscape, the sides with further landscapes, the inside of the doors and drawers with rockwork and plants, all on a black ground, the fine copper-gilt fittings engraved with scrollwork and elaborate rock plate, the Chinoiserie stand with lower shelf decorated in plum blossom, 19th century
