Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, the sheet is hinged to the mount along the upper edge. The left edge of the sheet is perforated as the sheet has been removed from a sketchbook, there are some historic losses and creases to these perforations. There are a number of horizontal creases along the lower edge, with a couple of further creases at the extreme lower right corner. There is a small tear (approx. 1cm.) in the upper section of the right edge. There are a number of further smaller nicks to the right and lower edges. There is some mount staining to the right, left and lower edges. The work is in overall good condition.
