A collection of autograph material, comprising:


(i) Autograph letter, to Hamlin, a corrected draft, explaining his plan for "a cruise ... for scouters and guiders, after the jamboree in August, to visit certain northern parts to meet the heads of the movement there", in pencil, 1 page, folio, n.d.


(ii) autograph note initialled ("RBP"), to Green, a covering note relating to a psychologist's report and draft response (neither now present), in pencil, 1 page, 14 December 1922


(iii) autograph note, to Mather, reporting on the Eton scouts' victory in a tug-of-war and inviting him to camp with them on Brownsea Island, 2 pages, n.d.


(iv) two autograph quotations ("...Consider the postage stamp, my son: its usefulness consists in its ability to stick to one thing until it gets there..."), 1 page
