Wood surfaces present with scattered areas of very minor losses to paint surface, concentrated to the crown moulding of the piece, and the proper left side of the cabinet, and some lifting to the paint, concentrated to the sides of the piece and and consistent with age and gentle use. Some areas of filled-in repair to wood on side of piece and in one key hole, only visible upon close inspection. Light lifting and some buckling to wood surface in areas surrounding the circular bronze decorative elements, only visible upon close inspection. Bronze elements present with very minor oxidation, consistent with the natural aging process of the material over time. Glass surfaces present with very minor and faint surface scratches, consistent with age and gentle use. On proper left side of cabinet, top pane of glass presents with some very minor white flecks of paint, consistent with age and gentle use. Top most drawer of cabinet pulls out to reveal six silver leaf pigeon hole compartments, and drawer converts into desk top. Compartments on either side of the cabinet with one shelf each. Silver-leafed interior of cabinet and interior of desk drawer presents with minor rubbing and scratches that reveal black and orange underpaint, consistent with age and gentle use. An architectural cabinet that presents with a warm parchment tone when viewed in person.
