While this print has not been examined outside its frame, it appears in very good condition. As is usual with Peter Beard works, presence of a few handling marks, only visible under raking light and in centre of image, as well as some small drips of paints and blood accross print. Subtles undulation along print edges, as well as some faint marks and folds where the work has been taped to the frame back board, only visible under close inspection. The second Karen Blixen inscription in the lower part of the image is slightly faded.
