Overall in very good condition. The mosaic favrile glass displays a rich variety of glass in a blue-green palette, ranging from bright apple green to vibrant kelly green to aqua. The striated iridized decoration on the glass is luminous and beautifully variegated in tones of lavender, turquoise and silver. The mosaic appears all original and undisturbed. The tiles with some scattered edge flecks and clamshells with some occasional slightly larger edge chips, only visible upon close inspection. The bronze surfaces with some scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions and light wear consistent with age and gentle handling. The bronze with some traces of surface soiling concentrated to the recessed contours of the design. The interior of the jardiniere with an area that is pushed slightly inward, possibly inherent to production and only visible under close inspection when the liner is removed. With a later replaced liner with light wear and faint discolorations. A rare and extravagant work from Tiffany’s “fancy goods” production with a rich glass selection.
