each of cylindrical form supported on a slightly tapered foot, set with two spearhead shaped handles, the body painted with four chrysanthemum blooms, or mons, between two iron-red and gilt bands, the conical covers similarly decorated and surmounted by a spherical knop, incised Japanese Palace inventory number N=110-↑

Condition Report

One cover in overall good condition, the other cover with a star crack to the knop. One ecuelle with a firing tear to one of hte handles with an associated hairline running down the body measuring approx. 2.5 cm. The other ecuelle with one handle restored. All pieces with minor firing imperfections and wear to the surface and gilding.
