A PAIR OF CHINESE EXPORT IRON-RED AND GILT TWO-HANDLED ECUELLES AND COVERS, QING DYNASTY, KANGXI PERIOD
each of cylindrical form supported on a slightly tapered foot, set with two spearhead shaped handles, the body painted with four chrysanthemum blooms, or mons, between two iron-red and gilt bands, the conical covers similarly decorated and surmounted by a spherical knop, incised Japanese Palace inventory number N=110-↑
