A DERBY 'FISH PLATE, CIRCA 1815
traditionally attributed to Thomas Tatlow, painted with a grayling (Thymallus thymallus), lying on ferns and weeds, within a rich gilt folitate-scroll border, script title 'A Grayling' over crowned crossed batons and D mark, numeral 36 in iron-red, numeral 4 in brown enamel
