A VICTORIAN SILVER-PLATED AND CUT-GLASS SURTOUT DE TABLE, MARKS OF JOHN TURTON & CO AND JOSEPH RODGERS & SONS, SHEFFIELD

CIRCA 1900


comprised of a three-piece plateau, an epergne with one large and three small glass bowls, a pair of vases and a pair of compotes each with glass bowls, the circular bases on openwork acanthus feet and lion-head supports supporting the stem, the plateau with the marks of JOHN TURTON & CO, the rest with the marks of JOSEPH RODGERS & SONS

plateau: 145.5cm. long, 32.5cm. wide; 4ft. 9in., 1ft.¾in., with glass bowls: epergne: 54.5cm. high, 34cm. wide; 1ft. 9½in., 1ft. 1½in., pair of compotes: 25cm. high, 26cm. diameter; 10in., 10¼in., pair of vases: 47cm. high, 16cm. diameter; 1ft. 6½in., 6¼in.
