Overall in very good condition. The shade displays a subdued grayish blue-green coloration when viewed firsthand. The shade with approximately 2 hairline cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The shade with some traces of surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines, consistent with age. Each of the cabochon jewels is plated on the reverse and each displays some very minor trapped surface soil between the plated layers. The base displays a rich brown patina and presents with scattered minor surface scratches and abrasions throughout consistent with age and gentle use and with some areas of patina wear to the top of the foot. With period sockets. With a period finial in very good condition. A very handsome lamp unit with impressive scale and presence when viewed firsthand.
