1907

decorated by Charles Pihan

enameled porcelain

with firm’s marks, dated 1907, monogrammed CP and remnants of an original paper label numbered 69.9

12½ in. (31.7 cm) high

Overall in very good condition. This enameled model comprises pastel floral motifs that superbly complement the smooth and bright texture of the porcelain body. The flower decorations are in well-preserved condition, with very light and occasional abrasions to the green glaze on motifs around the base consistent with gentle use. An elegant vase produced by the manufacture of Sèvres and decorated by one of its lead ceramic artists Charles Pihan.
