Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. An iconic piece by the Swedish designer, the floor lamp includes two fully adjustable shades, one of which functioning solely as a reflector to enhance light produced by the other. The enameled surfaces appear to be in original condition and present with expected but minor signs of age, namely light surface scratches, scuffs and very minor scattered areas of discoloration concentrated to the base and shades. The base with very minor nicks to the edges, consistent with gentle handling and not visually distracting. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
