Condition Report

Overall in very good condition. This majestic floor lamp presents with a patina which is slightly darker than the following lot, with dark russet brown hues when seen in person. The ironwork elements are stable and embody Brandt’s extraordinary abilities in executing complex and subtle decorations through ironwork. surface irregularities inherent to production. The patina with some light discoloration and darkening to the patina throughout, consistent with age and contribute to the surface’s rich texture. The color of the present glass shade is slightly darker than the following lot and presents with faint surface scratches throughout. The areas near the rim with some light darkening spots to the glass, consistent with contact with the patinated base, slightly more pronounced on this one compared to the next lot. The hole at the bottom of the shade is stable with some minor losses to the glass, which are not visible when the torchere is installed and are slightly more pronounced compared to the next lot.
