Overall in very good condition. When viewed firsthand, the shade displays a cheerful springtime palette with the dogwood blossoms executed in shades of soft white over a vibrant green background. The shade with approximately 6 hairline cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The shade with some minor traces of surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines, consistent with age. The base is in overall very good condition with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions and wear consistent with age and use. The socket stem with a few minor flakes to the patina, consistent with age. The telescoping mechanism is functional but can display some slight misalignment when the height is raised; this could be easily addressed by a professional Tiffany conservator. With period sockets. With a period finial in very good condition with some light wear. An impressively scaled lamp with naturalistic coloration.
