TSENG KWONG CHI | LAKE NINEVAH, VERMONT, 1985
THIS LOT IS BEING OFFERED AT NO RESERVE
Dear Keith: Works from the Personal Collection of Keith Haring
TSENG KWONG CHI
1950 - 1990
LAKE NINEVAH, VERMONT, 1985
large-format gelatin silver print
Image: 36¼ by 36¼ in. (92.1 by 92.1 cm.)
Framed: 38 by 38 in. (96.5 by 96.5 cm.)
Executed in 1985.
This gelatin silver print has not been examined out of its frame as originally issued by the photographer. It appears, however, to be in generally excellent condition. Visible only in raking light are a few scattered deposits of original retouching in the gray tones in the lower half of the print. To the left of the boat, two small spots of dust appear to be inside the acrylic glazing and not directly on the surface of the print.
On the reverse of the frame is a typed label stating that this work is from the collection of Keith Haring. Framed to the photographer's specifications under Plexiglas.
