PORTER SERIES: RUSSIE D'EUROPE (MAN WITH BED ON BACK)
signed, titled, dated 2006 and numbered 3/3 on fabric affixed to the reverse of the tapestry
mohair and silk embroidered tapestry
110 by 78½ in. 279.4 by 199.4 cm.
Executed in 2006, this work is number 3 from an edition of 3, plus 2 artist's proofs.
This work is in excellent condition overall. There is slight undulation to the tapestry, inherent to the work and the artist's chosen material. As a result of the various weave patterns and types of materials used, there is surface inconsistency throughout. There is scattered collection of dust and debris caught in between the fibers of the tapestry. Unframed.
