PHENOMENA WHITE SPUR

signed; signed, titled and dated Paris 1962 on the reverse

oil on canvas

57½ by 38¼ in. 146.1 by 97.2 cm.

framed: 59¼ by 39¾ in. 150.5 by 101 cm.

This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is undulated. There are scattered clear spot and drip accretions throughout, which are nearly invisible to the naked eye. Under Ultraviolet light inspection these aforementioned translucent and light brown spotting accretions fluoresce brightly, but are not the result of restoration. Further inspection under ultraviolet light reveals an area of the top left corner no larger than a ¼ inch, which fluoresces darkly and may have benefited from retouching. This work was not examined out of its frame. Framed.
