Ground Breaking: Works from the Collection of Joseph & Blanche Blank
ink, glass, wood, stone and stainless steel construction
23⅝ by 12¼ by 7 in. 60 by 31.1 by 17.8 cm.
Executed in 1971.
This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges, including scattered nicks, dents, scratches and abrasions to the metal casing. Under close inspection and raking light, a few scattered superficial scratches are visible to the glass elements. As expected with a work of this construction, the piece is slightly dusty overall.
