Condition Report

Colour:

Please note the colours in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings.

Condition:

This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some light wear in places along the edges and to the lower right corner tip. Further extremely close inspection reveals a few minute and unobtrusive media accretions in isolated places, most notably one towards the centre of the left edge and a small number towards the centre of the composition. There is an inconsistency to the paint on the figure's lower lip which appears to be original. Close inspection reveals a small dent to the stretcher to the right edge, approximately 20cm from the upper right corner, with some associated light wear to the extreme edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
