This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of minor wear and handling to the edges. Under close inspection and extreme raking light, four vertical stable and raised wrinkles run vertically and can be seen along the right edge of the canvas. These wrinkles are masked by the impasto of the red paint layer. On the verso, there is evidence of four vertical stain marks on the left side that fluoresce brightly when viewed under Ultraviolet light, assumed to correspond to the wrinkles on the recto. There are also two stains on the upper overturn edge that fluoresce brightly under Ultraviolet light inspection. However, there is no evidence of restoration under Ultraviolet light inspection. Unframed.
