This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges, with a few resultant and minor spots of loss at the top edge towards the left corner, in the lower right corner and along the bottom edge. The colors are bright and fresh. There are scattered networks of hairline cracking and craquelure throughout, as to be expected for a work from this period, and all of which appear stable. Just left of center, there is a 1.5-horizontal dark brown accretion. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, some of the aforementioned cracks have been consolidated and fluoresce darkly, mostly in the right side of the composition. Also under Ultraviolet light inspection, several small, localized areas fluoresce darkly and appear to have benefitted from restoration: 2 small spots in the vertical white swath at upper center and several areas in the lower left corner in the black. Framed.
