b. 1949

MOUND F

signed and dated 1992; signed, titled and dated Hampton Bays N.Y.C. 1992 on the stretcher

mixed media on linen

painting: 60 by 90 in. 152.4 by 228.6 cm.

framed: 62½ by 90½ in. 158.8 by 229.9 cm.

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear along the edges. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. The more thickly painted areas are all intact. Under very close inspection, the artist’s use of graphite into the paint layer caused some very minor skips to the yellow paint, particularly on the right edge, but these are the result of the artist’s process. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
