THE RECIPROCAL RELATION, UNITY 72

signed, titled and dated 1969 on the reverse

oil on canvas

painting: 26 by 18 in. 66 by 45.7 cm.

framed: 27½ by 19⅜ in. 69.9 by 49.2 cm.

This work is in good condition overall. All impasto peaks within the center region appear to remain present and intact. There is evidence of faint surface dust accumulation throughout the surface of the central passage. In yellow and purple passages both top and bottom, and along the veritable edges, there is evidence of stable hairline cracking in the impasto peaks, most noticeably in the bottom yellow passage. Upon close inspection, there is evidence of a minor pinpoint loss along the extreme turning left edge in the upper yellow passage. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is evidence of previous inpainting within the yellow passages. Framed.
