QING DYNASTY, CIRCA 1740
清 約1740年 外銷粉彩花卉紋冰酒器一組兩件
each of cylindrical form set with a pair of shell-shaped handles, painted around the body with four leafy cartouches variously enclosing a perched eagle or a scaly fish, each issuing two large flower heads, interspersed with smaller floral buds and clusters of grapes borne on leafy branches, all between geometric borders to the rim and foot, the interior painted with a large peony borne on leafy spray in iron-red enamel
