the exterior decorated with floral scrolls below a low relief double lotus leaf band and divided by quatrefoil panels enclosing a stylised shou character surrounded by birds and flowers, the sides set with two lion mask handles, the domed cover pierced with foliate scrolls and surmounted by a lion dog finial
