Property from a Belgian Private Collection
A ROMAN MARBLE FIGURE OF ZEUS OR SARAPIS, CIRCA 2ND CENTURY A.D.
seated on a cushioned throne with rounded back and formerly holding a sceptre in his raised left hand, and wearing sandals, chiton, and himation draped over his lap and falling from the left shoulder; right foot, knee, forearm, and shoulder, left arm, and head formerly restored.
Height 28.6 cm.
