DERVISHES UNDER A TREE IN A ROCKY LANDSCAPE, ASCRIBED TO YUSUF AL-HUSAYNI, PERSIA, PROBABLY ISFAHAN, SAFAVID, MID-17TH CENTURY

drawing on paper heightened with colours, mounted on an album page with blue paper borders decorated with gold floral motifs and medallions of pink and buff paper set in, outer red paper border, the reverse with 25 lines of nasta’liq

drawing: 16.9 by 8cm.

leaf: 32.8 by 21.4cm.

In overall good condition, some smudges and stains, some creases, minor losses, as viewed.
