The work is unlined and there are frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges. The surface of the work is dirty and appears to retain a yellowed varnish. There is surface cracking throughout, with a few corresponding pindots of paint loss, and stretcher bar marks at vertical canter. Under UV: the work retains an uneven varnish layer and there are scattered pindots of inpaint throughout.
