The work is lined, tacked to modern stretchers and the extreme outer edges covered in black tape. There is surface cracking throughout, most noticeably in the thicker, lighter colored pigments. Under UV: there appear to be scattered small spots and pindots of inpaint most noticeably in the background in the upper right corner. Although some additional pigments read strongly, they appear to be the artist's original.
