The canvas is lined, the original tacking edges trimmed and covered with brown tape. The surface of the work is dirty and there are frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges.There is surface cracking through the right side of the composition, most noticeably in the sky and water at far right. Under UV: there appear to be lines of inpaint corresponding to surface cracking in the sky and a few additional scattered small spots throughout.
